Leave the gate for a coached room
Pecan Plantation sits on the Brazos, east of Granbury, with its own gates, its own streets, and its own reasons to stay inside them. Team 24 Fitness is not one of those reasons to stay. There is no studio in the community. Training happens at 2461 East US Hwy 377 A, in Granbury, after you have left the gate and come into town. The drive is part of choosing a coach instead of making do with whatever is closest to the driveway.
That distinction matters. An amenity room can hold a treadmill and a set of dumbbells. It cannot watch your set, change the plan when your shoulder complains, or tell you what to eat the other twenty-three hours. Residents who do well here have usually already tried to solve fitness without leaving. They are not looking for another place to wander. They are looking for an appointment with a person who will notice if the work is sloppy or the week went missing.
The studio hours are weekdays 5am to 1pm and 3pm to 7pm, Saturday 5am to 1pm, Sunday closed. You are not slipping over at 8pm after dinner. Plan the exit from the community around a real block of time. Morning group classes, afternoon personal training, and the Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday evening rides are the options. The gate is a few minutes of logistics, not a reason to keep improvising.
Who this is for inside Pecan Plantation
The community holds a wide mix: people who play early, people who work in Granbury or farther up 377, parents whose days are built around school traffic, and residents who have the time but not a plan. The ones who stay at Team 24 want the plan. They have often already owned equipment, already joined something convenient, and already discovered that convenience does not tell them what to do on Wednesday.
You will be known in the room. Group classes are small enough to fix a rep. Personal training is private with Brandon Sledge, including a nutrition plan and tracking for body weight, muscle, fat loss, and strength. Dawn Skinner teaches the group classes and Cycle 24. If you wanted a place where nobody learns your name, the private studio will feel like too much contact. That contact is the service.
Start with the free consultation even if you are sure you want a private program. Bring the constraints that actually live inside the gate: early tee times, grandkids, a work call that owns Thursday, a back that does not like the first thing you try. We would rather hear that on day one than design a week that looks impressive and dies when it meets your real calendar.
Personal training, which an amenity room cannot fake
Personal training is the clearest reason to drive out. Brandon coaches you in a private setting, writes the program for your goal, and builds the nutrition plan with it. The follow-up is specific: body weight, muscle, fat loss, and strength. You are not renting a machine. You are hiring someone who already knows what you lifted last time and whether the meals matched the goal.
On the consult, ask for a frequency that survives your week inside the community, not the frequency a motivated version of you would keep. Two private sessions can be enough if the food is honest and you are not also pretending you will do four extra workouts beside the pool. More contact is right if you already know you will not train unless someone is waiting. We will pick one. We will not sell you both and call it discipline.
Sessions sit in the open hours: mornings through early afternoon, the 3 to 7pm weekday block, and Saturday morning. Some residents like the session attached to a Granbury errand so the gate opens once. Others want the workout to be the only reason they left, so it does not get bumped for a store. Tell us which one is you. A plan that fights your pattern will lose.
Group class as the standing exit
Group classes are Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, 5:30 to 6:30am. Equipment stays at the studio. Dawn coaches. For a Pecan Plantation morning, this is a standing reason to be through the gate before the day fills itself. The class is shared and still coached. It is the right entry if you want a room and a clock without booking every hour as personal training.
The session is built from strength work you will see again. Repeating a pattern is how you get stronger. A coach who can see you is how you get stronger without rehearsing a bad rep. Classes that change every song feel productive and leave you no better at anything. If you have been in a packed room where the only feedback was the mirror, expect fewer people and more instruction.
Group membership is no contract, auto debit. Ask for the number at the consult. The class will not replace a private nutrition plan or a progression written only for you. It will give you three mornings and a coach. If 5:30am fights the way your household actually wakes up, say so. An evening ride or an afternoon session is a better membership than a morning you resent.
Cycle 24 after you have left the community
Cycle 24 is a 45-minute indoor ride in the same Granbury studio. Shoes are provided. Experience is not. You do not need a bike at home. Rides run Monday at 6pm, Tuesday at 5:30pm, and Thursday at 5:30pm. Drop-in rides are $24. Unlimited rides are $149 a month if the bike becomes the habit rather than the thing you try once and describe to a neighbor.
The evening timing suits residents who will not give up the morning and still want a hard appointment that ends at a known minute. Resistance is yours. Dawn coaches the effort. Nobody is scoring you against the next bike, so a first visit does not require you to already be a cyclist. Regulars and new riders share the room because the work scales to the person.
Book the ride before you leave the gate, not when you are already in the parking lot wondering if it started. If you want the rides together with group classes and stretch, that is Unlimited, and it means several trips into Granbury each week. One ride is a complete choice. You do not have to graduate to everything we offer in order to have started.
A week that is worth opening the gate for
A sustainable Pecan Plantation week is a small number of trips you do not renegotiate. One version: Monday and Wednesday group class, Thursday ride. Another: two private sessions in the afternoon, timed with errands already taking you into Granbury. A third, if you want the studio to carry the whole plan: Unlimited. The consult is where we throw out the versions that only work if nothing else in the community speaks up.
Unlimited means three spin classes, three group classes, and five stretch sessions every week. It is a serious amount of time outside the gate. It fits a resident who wants training, recovery, and a coach to be the structure of the week. It is the wrong buy if you wanted a single class and a story about being busy. Stretch, in particular, is for the backs and hips that golf, sit, and then wonder why lifting feels cranky.
The first month should feel like a route you know: which gate time, which class, what you are eating on the days you stay home. Call (817) 683-8347 or use the form on this page. A trainer texts back to set the consult. Come see the room on East 377 before you decide the amenity down the street was close enough.
Questions from Pecan Plantation
Is there a Team 24 studio inside Pecan Plantation?
No. You leave the community and train at the Granbury studio on East US 377. Same room, same coaches, same schedule as every other member.
Why not just use whatever gym is closest to home?
Closest is convenient. It is not coaching. Personal training, the small group class, and Cycle 24 are programmed and watched. An open room will not write the plan or stop a bad rep.
What should I book first?
A free consultation. Tell us how often you will actually leave the gate. We will match personal training, the morning class, or Cycle 24 to that number.
Do I bring shoes for the bike?
No. Cycle 24 provides shoes. Group class provides the equipment. Bring clothes you can train in and shoes for the strength work.
