Acton is close enough to be specific
Acton sits just northeast of Granbury, close enough that the square, the schools, and the highway are already how the week is organized. Team 24 Fitness does not have an Acton address. The studio is at 2461 East US Hwy 377 A. You are in the room a few minutes after you decide to leave, which changes what a reasonable week looks like. Distance is not the excuse. Choosing a plan you will repeat is.
Because the hop is short, the early class is more realistic here than it is for towns farther out. Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at 5:30am can be over before the house is fully awake, and you are back without having donated an extra half hour to the road. Evening rides work for the same reason. You are not stacking a journey on top of a workout. You are crossing into Granbury the way you already do for everything else.
The studio is open weekdays 5am to 1pm and 3pm to 7pm, and Saturday 5am to 1pm. Sunday is closed. Personal training lives in those blocks. Group class is the early hour. Cycle 24 is Monday at 6pm, Tuesday at 5:30pm, and Thursday at 5:30pm. If you are in Acton and you have been telling yourself you will start when a gym appears closer, this is the closer that already exists.
Who in Acton actually needs the studio
Proximity attracts two kinds of people, and only one of them lasts. The first wants a coach, a plan, and a room that will notice if they vanish. The second wants a cheap place to walk on a treadmill near home. We are the first. Acton members who do well here are parents who can make a short morning, lake-area residents who are done improvising in a garage, and anyone who tried a crowded class and left without knowing if the exercise was even the right one.
The room stays small on purpose. Group classes can be corrected mid-set. Personal training is private with Brandon Sledge: your program, a nutrition plan, and tracking for body weight, muscle, fat loss, and strength. Dawn Skinner teaches group fitness and indoor cycling. You should expect to be known. If that sounds like pressure, an open gym will feel easier, and it will also leave you alone with the same questions you drove in with.
If you are starting from zero, the consult is the start. It is free, and it is a conversation, not a hazing workout. Bring the week you keep in Acton, including school runs and the evenings that already belong to someone else. A short drive does not mean an unlimited appetite for appointments. We will build the frequency you can protect.
Personal training when the drive is not the hard part
When the studio is this close, the limit is attention, not mileage. Personal training spends that attention on you. Brandon instructs the session, writes the program around the goal you named, and includes nutrition so the work is not undone by the meals you already know are the problem. The numbers that get tracked are body weight, muscle, fat loss, and strength. You can see whether the week did anything.
The free consult is where we set how often you should be in the room. Some Acton members need two private sessions and can handle the rest. Some need more contact because a short drive makes it too easy to say tomorrow. We will tell you which pattern fits. Defaulting to the biggest package is how close-by members end up paying for hours they treat as optional.
You can train early, late morning, early afternoon, or in the 3 to 7pm block on weekdays, and Saturday morning. Say if you want the session before the rest of Granbury errands, so one trip covers both. Say if you want it separate so the workout is not the thing you squeeze between the store and the school. Both are legitimate. The plan should match the one you will still be doing next month.
The morning class, minus the excuse
Group classes run Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 5:30 to 6:30am. The equipment is in the studio. Dawn coaches it. For Acton, this is the class that should be easy to reach and is still early enough to matter. It is shared, programmed, and small enough that your form is part of the hour. It is the lower-commitment way in if you do not need a private nutrition plan yet.
You will see the same lifts often enough to improve at them. The coach can change the load, shorten the range, or stop a rep that is about to become how you move. That is the product. A random circuit would not be worth even a short hop, because you could guess at home. If you have trained in a room where the instructor faced the mirror and not you, expect this to feel quieter and more direct.
Membership is no contract, auto debit. Get the current figure on the consult so you can set it next to the week you are actually building. The class is not personal training. It will not write you a private progression or a meal plan. It is the right tool when you want a standing 5:30 and a coach who can see you. Three mornings is a real habit. One morning you skip twice is not.
Cycle 24 without making a project out of it
Cycle 24 is 45 minutes, shoes provided, no experience and no personal bike required. The rides are Monday at 6pm, Tuesday at 5:30pm, and Thursday at 5:30pm. A single class is $24. Unlimited rides are $149 a month if you want the bike on the calendar instead of as a guest appearance. Dawn runs the room. You choose the resistance. The effort is coached.
From Acton the evening ride does not need a speech about commitment. You can be home for a normal night afterward. That is the advantage of the short hop, and it is also the trap: because it is easy to reach, it is easy to treat as optional. Book it the way you book the thing you do not negotiate. First-timers and regulars ride together because the work scales.
One ride is a fair way to see the room before you decide on strength work. If the bike treats your knees better than a barbell that week, stay with it. If you want muscle and a plan on top of the rides, personal training and the morning class are in the same building. You do not need a second membership somewhere else in town.
What a full Acton week can honestly be
Acton can support a denser week than towns that are a real drive away. A strong version is group class Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, plus one or two rides, plus a private session when the plan needs hands on the bar. A lighter version is two private sessions and a single ride. Both are available because the hop is short. The consult decides which one you will still attend when the calendar gets loud.
Unlimited is three spin classes, three group classes, and five stretch sessions every week. From Acton, that volume is geographically plausible. It is still a lot of training. It fits someone who wants the studio to be the main health appointment and will use the stretch time, not only the classes that feel like workouts. If you want one hard hour and nothing else, do not buy the full menu.
Use the stretch sessions. A short drive does not loosen hips that sat all day. Five sessions a week are there so the strength work does not turn into a stiffness project. Call (817) 683-8347 or use the form. A trainer texts back. Come see the room, then pick the week you can repeat without negotiating with yourself every evening.
Questions from Acton
Is the Acton page a different gym?
No. You train at the Granbury studio on East US 377. Acton is close enough that the trip is a short hop, and the coaches and schedule are the same.
Can I do the full Unlimited week from Acton?
The distance allows it. Three spin classes, three group classes, and five stretch sessions are a lot of work, so choose it because you will use them, not because the drive is easy.
How do I start?
Book a free consultation. We will match personal training, the 5:30am class, or Cycle 24 to the week you actually keep in Acton.
What should I show up with?
Shoes you can train in and clothes you can sweat in. Equipment is in the room for group class. Cycle 24 provides shoes.
